Ashley G. Terrell - also known as "Ash Lemonade" -  is an entertainment and culture writer, and podcast host with a passion for intersecting entertainment with conversations around culture, Black and Brown women, and societal issues.

Director Ava DuVernay ("A Wrinkle In Time," "Queen Sugar") once slid in her Twitter DM's and called her writing "lovely" and "so well done." As you can imagine, she has yet to recover from that. 

In 2014, she earned her journalism and communications degree from Eastern Michigan University where she wrote for her college paperscoring her first big interview with Hollywood producer Wesley Coller who executive produced major films including Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, and Justice League just to name a few.

Since 2015, Ashley has worked as a freelance writer and interviewed celebrities in film, TV, and music including Jimmy Jam, Peabo Bryson, Lynn Whitfield, Keith David, the cast of Queen Sugar, Amanda Seales, Kasi Lemmons, and TV show writer/producer Yvette Lee Bowser to name a few. Her work can be seen in digital publications including theGrio, Essence, VIBE, Ebony, The Huffington Post, Medium, Black Girl Nerds, For Harriet, and Paste Magazine.
